For more than 25 years, Eddie Bruce has been entertaining audiences with his unique repertoire - everything from Top 40, R & B, Disco and House Music as well as Swing and Sinatra, and other musical styles for weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs and public and private special events. Still one of the areas most sought after party bands, Eddie's orchestra features some of the most talented musicians and vocalists in the business.

With over 3000 parties under his belt, Eddie and company have also performed at Bally's Park Place in Atlantic City on New Year's Eve for 17 years and 2001 marks his debut at The Etess Arena of Trump Taj Mahal. Eddie and his orchestra were honored recently to perform at the Grand Gala Opening of the Kimmel Center For The Performing Arts.

Continuing to perform at parties all over the Delaware Valley, Bruce is also emerging as a much sought after cabaret artist. His show "Newley Discovered" a tribute to legendary composer, singer Anthony Newley was called "A winner on all counts" by Backstage. He has headlined at Bally's in Atlantic City, Odettes in New Hope and performed his show in New York City at 88's, The Supper Club and Danny's. His vocal talents are showcased on his CD "We'll Never Say Goodbye" blending a wide variety of styles including Jazz, Swing, Latin and Great American Standards. Eddie recently completed a sold out engagement at Brasserie Perrier, turning one of Philadelphia's best restaurants into a cabaret.

Born in Philadelphia, Bruce began his entertainment career as a child performing on local television talent shows, high school theatre, and other events throughout the city. The most influential of these shows was “Al Albert's Showcase”. Eddie appeared on the first show broadcast from channel 48 and moved as a regular with the show to WPVI Channel 6. As a member of the Showstoppers a regularly appearing group of local teens, Bruce made frequent appearances on the show and sang many duets with the host Al Alberts a veteran of recordings with The Four Aces. After attending Temple University's Television, Radio and Film Program, he formed the popular “Eddie Bruce Music”. Eddie was the first host of the 1980's hit show called “Dancin' On Air”, and also was a host on Philadelphia's talk radio station WWDB-FM.

Eddie also performs at numerous charitable events for organizations, such as: The Eagles Fly For Leukemia, The Variety Club, Golden Slipper, The Breast Health Institute and The Chef Aid Gala for Manna among many others. He is also a wedding consultant, providing valuable advise for clients planning to get married, or who are considering hosting a variety of special events.


Eddie resides in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania and has three children.
